The founder of the group Mohammad Ali Chowdhury started various trading business in 1980’s .Later he established Shatil Flour Mills in Narayangong. In the year 1998, the company started manufacturing and supply of biscuits in the name of Masafi Bread & Biscuits Industries Ltd. Located at gorai, Mirzapur, Tangail.

In 2007 the group entered into textile business by setting up an export-oriented textile Spinning unit named as AB.R- Spinning Mills Ltd. (ABRSML) with 20,000 ring spindles. Now the unit has 50,000 ring spindles which is run by his successor Saiful H Chowdhury  with state of art modern and automatic Spinning machines thus the group is enriched.
